Gŵyl y Ferch is back for a night packed with films by local women. From animation to fine art filmmaking to documentary, this inspiring evening celebrates the breadth of Welsh women’s creativity.

Access Denied:

A short film created by Rachel-Ann Osborn and filmed by TAPE Community Music and Film. Rachel-Ann Osborn will be attending Gŵyl y Ferch alongside Steve Swindon director of TAPE.

Film description:

Martha’s disabled. She’s a lesbian.

And she’s done being overlooked, especially at Pride. When an event proves inaccessible, she and her community roll into rebellion, turning exclusion into connection.

The cast and crew for Access Denied was made up of people with the lived experience of the film’s lead character and for whom the themes of the film strongly resonate.

Access: Cerebral Palsy.
